She is pitiful looking, but she is home. She has a good appetite, and is getting around very well. She's even starting to put a bit of weight on her bad leg. The vet said to bring her back in about a week for a checkup, or sooner if I have any concerns.

Aww poor girl, she really did get banged up. Hopefully she'll stay right there where she belongs...at home asleep on the carpet.

Patti, thank you. Yes, she got scraped up quite a bit. Fortunately, except for that one leg, she just got cuts and bruises.

Nicky (our Basset) sends sympathies. He's not in as bad a shape as Rylea, but he fell down the stairs and sprained his left hock.
Wow, she does look banged up. But a dog with a good appetite is a (relatively) healthy dog. I'm glad she's home.
