Now It Gets Interesting

This has been the season for upsets in the NCAA. Oklahoma just knocked off #1 ranked Missouri, and Pitt defeated #2 West Virginia. WVU and Missou had been projected to play in the BCS National Title game, provided both won today.

They didn't.

Now it gets interesting.

Yep. REAL interesting. Given the way LSU played yesterday I'm certain Georgia would have cleaned their clock(s). LSU didn't beat Tennessee so much as TN beat themselves.

The "championship" will be played between OSU and LSU, the way I see it. But there are a lot of 10-2 teams that could make a case as to why THEY should be in The Game, and not LSU.

As for Ohio State... Feh. Soft schedule and all that, or, the "class of the underclass," as it were.

I agree with you about LSU. They were lucky to come away with a win in that game. Had Matt Flynn been starting, I have no doubt that the game would have been entirely different. But injuries are part of football, and Ryan Perriloux did a good job as a backup.

OSU and LSU, yep, that's what I see as well.
