Of Dishcloths and Socks

After feeling so rushed yesterday, today ended up being a pretty laid back day--after work, that is. I didn't really do much of anything. I started a dishcloth, but only got this far

when I decided I'd really rather be working on Cody's socks.

So that's what I did while I watched the movie Becoming Jane, the biography of Jane Austen. It was pretty good, though not exactly accurate, if the Wikipedia article is to be believed.

The dish cloth and Cody's look great.

I have not seen Becoming Jane yet. It is on my list. I am a Jane Austin fan.

There's lots of back and forth on The Wiki, but I tend to trust 'em. I haven't caught 'em out in any serious errors. A few nits, yeah, but that's just what they are: Nits.

Thanks, Inquiries. I like Jane Austen, too. I was talking about that movie at work today, and the lady I was talking with had no idea who Jane Austen was. Even after I started naming the novels, she just shook her head with a blank look on her face. I told her she needed to read more!

Buck, I've found Wiki to be pretty accurate as well. More so than Hollywood, and that'll tell you where I stand on the accuracy of any so called biographical movie. Still, it was a good movie, even if it wasn't strictly true. Suspension of disbelief and all that.
