The event started with a child safety seminar. The guest speaker was a man from the Exchange club who gave a talk about preventing child abuse.

Next, sensei gave a talk about self defense. He demonstrated a few techniques.


Then we let the children practice actually doing them.

This little girl figured out pretty quickly how to whack people with that cast.
Finally, a group shot of the kids who participated:
