So I'm at work, minding my own business, when this co-worker comes up to me out of the blue and says, "Did you get a new trailer?" When I responded in the affirmative, she asked me what I was going to do with the old one. I told her I was going to sell it, and how much I was asking for it and she said,"I want it." We talked a bit more on the particulars, and she and her mother came by after work to look at it. She told me she'd let me know for sure tomorrow. Cool, huh?
But that ain't all. Around 7:00 PM, whilst I was watching music videos on Yahoo!, Mike came by and he had a guy with him. I don't remember the fellow's name, but he owns a trailer park just North of here. He said he wanted it also. He'd already looked it over and agreed to my price. I told him about my co-worker, and he said that if she didn't get it, he would! It appears I have my old house sold. Now I just have to finish cleaning it out. There's not much left, and I'll probably pay Cody, Shelbi, and Brittani to do it this weekend, if they want to. My other co-worker took most of my old junk that I didn't want to keep for her church's rummage sale.
Yippee!
The same pitcher as yesterday, only this time without the cup. I think it worked out a little better.
Sensei will be out tomorrow. He will either be sick, or in Nashville. Bill Pogue, who is the head of our association, is having a black belt seminar in Nashville this weekend. Sensei is going to go, if he isn't sick. I wanted to, but just couldn't afford it. Anyhoooooo, that means I'm in charge of class tomorrow night.
Speaking of class, Blake is falling back into his old patterns. He has begun leaving after the kid's class. He's too tired, or he doesn't feel good, or this excuse or that excuse. Too bad.
Further speaking of class, only 5 more days until the first black belt class. Woo hoo!

Congrats on finding buyers for your old place! As "they" say, "When it rains, it pours..."
I'll bet that's a load off you...
Congrats on your good luck with your old house. Of course, it's probably a testament to the care you have taken of it. I like this pitcher sketch, too. Hope your day is grand!
The pitcher is better today. I have drawn my pitcher so many times, I can do it blindfolded. Yesterday's cup did not have the depth (shading)that it could have had. I would assume time is a factor in your drawings.
PS. I will do the victory dance for your selling of your old house - Yeha! I know that is a big to do.
Buck, thanks. It is a load off. Now, I just have to get it cleaned out.
Sus, thank you. Pitchers make great still life subjects.
Lou, you are right about the cup. I didn't even have time to do more than sketch out its outlines.
On the other hand, I am trying to practice sketching quickly, yet accurately. That's why I chose my lunch break to do them on. Even a bad sketch can teach me something.
