Oklahoma defeated Oklahoma State 61-41, though State gave them a run for their money.
Baylor *snort* almost held off Texas Tech, until Tech pulled ahead late in the 4th quarter. An upset here would have solved everyone's problems. Still, Tech didn't gain any style points in this game.
Texas slaughtered Texas A & M 49-9 Thursday.
This leaves the teams in a 3 way tie in the Big 12 South, and at the mercy of the polls.
There's gonna be a lot of shoutin over this one.

Daughter Debbie is so into football, don't ask me where she got it from!
Of course living in OK she is a great OU fan. She and her husband went to a friends home after our Turkey dinner yesterday to watch the game and Shaun (her Daddy) decided to harass her ( imagine that!)
He kept calling her to ask if his team was winning, laughing like some demented soul. (His team as in the opposite team Deb was rooting for of course.)
Each time he asked she would get her dander up and give her daddy flack right back. Well you can guess the gloating that went on in the last text message she sent her Dad. Poor Dad had to read it this morning though as his old age caught up to him and he was in bed before the game was over. Needless to say we got a good laugh reading that text message and I do believe Deb is slowly sucking her Daddy into this football thingy!!

Dawn, yeah football rivalries can get pretty ugly.
Amy, they don't deserve to be in the championship. In case you have forgotten THEY LOST to Texas, on a neutral field by 10 points. Yet they are playing in the Big 12 championship, and Texas isn't, even though Texas had a tougher schedule from the beginning. Texas got royally screwed on this one.
