What a great thing to do - a sketch a day. I really admire that you decided to start something that you've always wanted to do.
I'm going to do the same thing - starting January 1, I'm going to teach myself Italian - and learn more than just the bad words I knew growing up as a kid! lol
Keep up the blog and keep up the sketching! Your eye will get better and you'll be amazed at what you can do!

Good luck with learning Italian. When I was there, I picked up enough Italian--or rather Neopolitan dialect--to carry on a decent conversation, but in the years since I've been back, I've forgotten most of it.
