Got Yarn?

Got any yarn you're not quite sure what to do with it?

Maybe it was a gift from a well meaning friend or relative. Maybe it is left over from some larger project. Maybe it was some you absolutely loved, but only one ball was left in the clearance bin, and it's just not quite enough to make anything with it. Maybe you just went crazy when it first came out, but now the eyelash yarn has sort of gone out of style, and you still have a drawer full. Oh, what to do? What to do?

Here's an idea...Scarves From The Heart donates hand knit or crocheted scarves to cancer patients. And just why do cancer patients need scarves? Well, for one thing, the treatment they go through really messes up their bodies. They will feel cold, even when the temps are warm. More than anything, they need to know someone cares.

A scarf is such a simple thing, but to someone dying of cancer, it can mean so much.
