Two Socks and a Sunset

is about all I have time for today.

I knit this and this
Sunday afternoon while watching golf. *ahem*

Took the sunset picture Sunday night.

That's how far behind I am.

P.S. Buck, I'm not through with you, either. I'll get back to you when I have more time.

Great socks and a beautiful sunset.

Yay, you're diving right into the Cowboy socks! I'm eager to see how these knit up. What pattern are you using?

Is that the Dallas Cowboy yarn? It's knitting up very nicely! Never thought I would hear myself say that I like anything about Dallas. :)

Golf, huh? You're too funny!

Not into knitting, but who's the golfer? He's kinda cute...probably gay or married though.

Thanks, Ashley.

Sus, I'd planned on making Monkey socks with them, sort of to help my Cowboys get that monkey off their backs. You know, the monkey of not being able to win playoff games. I didn't realize how the colors would spiral, though, so now I'm wondering if it is the right choice. I'll knit a few pattern repeats and re-evaluate the situation.

Amy, why yes it is. It is knitting up quite nicely. Still too much white, though.

Sarah, why yes, golf. I was watching golf. *batts eyes innocently*

Patti, that is Tony Romo, starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. Now really, can I have a little more credit than that? Would I really be oogling someone who was gay or married? (Hey! I didn't KNOW Greg was gay! Nobody knew back then!)

Well, now. That sounds rather ominous, dontcha think? ;-)

Sorry Bec, to be fair I thought that was an actual golfer, rather than a football player playing golf.

Speaking of which, when you said something about the monkey on the Cowboys' backs, I thought you were talking about Jessica Simpson. We know how highly you think of her. ;-)

(Greg is still a cutie no matter which team he plays for)

I'd say I love the two new socks, but all my love is going to the "golfer". You'll understand I'm sure. ;-)

Patch, no worries. It was a celebrity golf tournament, with all sorts of athletes and actors playing.

Jessica is quite the monkey, isn't she? She just won't go away. Tony has dumped her several times, and next thing I hear, they are back together.

Opal, I understand perfectly!
