A Scarf Is Done

Pattern: One Row Handspun Scarf
Yarn: Vanna's Choice
Colorway: Autumn Print
Needles: 10.5 US

Remembering the need for scarves men could wear, I started this one:

Pattern: Textured Scarf
Yarn: Red Heart Supersaver
Color: Tan
Needles: 10.5 US

It's knitting up really fast. What you see is only about an hour of work. I hope it's manly enough.

The answer to yesterday's question:

The flowers shown are cotton blossoms:

See?

The yarn on that one-row scarf just could not have pooled any better! It looks really amazing! And I think any non-lace pattern in a nice tan will be perfectly manly. It's looking good!

I love the way you planned the colors on the one row scarf. The mathmatics involved in making that happen must have taken longer than the actual knitting.

Well, scratch one amateur botanist. I ventured a guess at the flower(s) over at The Summer Photo Project... and was oh-so-wrong.

Sus, thank you.

Amy, yes, it took ages to get the mathematics all just right to make the yarn stripe just so.

Robin, thanks.

Buck, don't take it too hard. Lots of people don't even know that cotton flowers.

Great scarfs. Did the cotton blossoms smell like fresh laundry? ;)
