I also watched Sleepy Hollow. I thought it was pretty good. I hope they keep the same level of quality as the pilot, and it doesn't become just another dull crime drama.
And Sunday night I stayed up to watch the Seahawks/49ers game. It was delayed an hour by rain. Anyone remember when football was played by men? Roger Goodell seems to be trying to turn it into a game for sissies. Why? We have soccer already.
So, that's two nights in a row I got limited sleep. I'll be turning in early tonight. Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
Well, enough banter. Let's get to chattin'.
QUESTIONS
1. What's the one thing you feel is the biggest waste of your time during an average week?
Work, no doubt. Hands down, without question. But, ya gotta pay the bills somehow.
2. When was the last time you baked a pie?
Last Thanksgiving. I always make a pumpkin pie and sometimes a sweet potato pie. I usually make one for Christmas, too, but since it was just me this year, I didn't go all out on Christmas dinner. I had leftovers from Thanksgiving.
3. What do you want to spend time doing that you aren't right now?
Fishing. Or target shooting. There isn't a range here, though, so that kind of puts the damper on that.
4. What do you do with old clothes?
I usually either turn them into cleaning rags, or just throw them out. Being that I'm not at all fashion conscious, I wear stuff until it wears out. Sometimes, though, I donate them, like a couple of years ago when that big tornado hit East Mississippi and Tuscaloosa. Our church collected clothes to take to some of the hardest hit areas. I sent quite a few up there.
5. If we were having lunch on the porch today, what would you bring for the potluck styled lunch?
Probably my squash casserole, or sweet potato delight. The recipes are linked in the right sidebar. Just scroll down a bit.
That's it for this week. Tune in next week.
Same bat time, same bat channel.
Boy, I really do need some sleep!

Sounds like our potluck would have been wonderful, good food, interesting friends.
Sweet potato delight... now that sounds good! Have a great week!
I wear my clothes out too. I am going to look for fabric re-cycling. I already have enough rags to last for the next decade.
I had a laugh at your comment about football and soccer. lol I wear lots of clothes out. I think anyone who lives on a farm does. Sweet potato anything is okay with me. Our farm manager just brought me a big bucket of sweet potatoes. I feel a need for sweet potato fries! Have a good weekend.
