Not EnRaptured Just Yet

So, the Rapture didn't occur yesterday, and people who don't know what they are talking about are crowing about how Biblical prophecy has failed.  They could not be more wrong.  Biblical prophecy has not failed.  One slightly unhinged man's wild guess has failed --again.  One cannot declare the Bible to be wrong based on the demented actions of one human kook.

You see, people tend to want to judge God based on the actions of men, and you just cannot do that.  Any true Christan would have been able to refute Harold Camping's latest prediction in about ten seconds.  And in one sentence...

If the Son doesn't even know, what makes you think you do?

Harold Camping has deceived millions, and has hardened the hearts of many, all for worldly gain.  He has reportedly made millions of dollars off his phony predictions, and has probably turned millions away from the true path to salvation.  And he will one day stand in judgment and have to account for every one of those souls.

In the meantime, life goes on, and in my life, that includes knitting.

Wendy posted her second clue to the Summer Mystery Shawlette:

Only 12 rows, it went pretty quickly.  The next clue is supposed to have 72 rows.  The good news is, it will be released right before a holiday weekend, and the rows get shorter as you go.

That's the nice thing about knitting from the bottom up.
