What Goes Around

Do you remember the first game of the season? The Cowboys and the Browns. About 5 minutes into the third quarter, Tony Romo takes a shot to the chin. If you need a refresher, you can see it here, starting at 1:53.

So, Tony gets hit, and he's laying on the ground. Somehow, they get a camera right up in his face and are showing it on the Jumbotron. He's laying there, bleeding, his eyes squeezed shut, grimacing in pain. What do the Browns fans do? They cheer.

They cheer.

What goes around, comes around.

This week the Cleveland Browns put both Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn on injured reserve--Quinn with a broken finger, and Anderson with a torn MCL. They are down to their third string quarterback, a guy named Ken Dorsey.

You wanna hear even more irony? Tony Romo broke his finger and sat out three games. Brady Quinn broke his finger, but decided to try to play through anyway. That was the talk all over the media.

"Well, Brady Quinn broke his finger but is going to play anyway. Why couldn't Tony Romo play? Is Brady Quinn a better football player than Tony Romo?"

So Brady Quinn decided to play with a broken finger. In the very first game, he damages his finger even further and now requires surgery to repair it. Thus, he is placed on IR, and his season is done.

I hate to say it serves them right, but...
