When It Rains...

We already knew Terrence Newman would be out at least a month following surgery to repair a sports hernia.

Roy Williams has been out since week 2 with a broken arm.

And Kyle Kosier has been out since the Green Bay game with a broken foot.

Safety Pat Watkins has missed two games with repeated stingers.

So far, the Cowboys had gotten off pretty easy on the injury front, but after last night's game against the Cardinals, that is no more.

Wide receiver Sam Hurd re-injured a high ankle sprain and will need surgery. He'll likely be out for the season.

Running back Felix Jones has a strained hamstring, and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks.

Punter Mat McBriar suffered a broken bone in his punting foot during that blocked punt that ended the game. He is out for the season, as the Cowboys will need to put him on IR in order to free space on the roster to sign another punter.

Far worst of all, quarterback Tony Romo has a broken finger on this throwing hand. He'll be out at least a month.

Then there is the uncertainty of what will become of the latest Pacman Jones incident.

In one fell swoop, the hopes of a Superbowl this year came crashing down. If you will excuse me, I'm going to go huddle in a corner and whimper for a while.

Dawn, it would really take a miracle, too. It seems like half the team--at least the starters--are out for whatever reason.
