Sunday night, it was. We had a hellacious storm blow through, but once it was gone, it left behind a sky of breathtaking beauty. If only photos could capture what the eye can see.
This just in: The Red Guys have won the hockey championship thingy. Contratulations, Buck!

Gorgeous photos!
I'm sad the Pens weren't able to pull of another miracle, but it was still a fantastic game!
Nice!!
Great pictures. That sky is beautiful.

I think your photos come VERY close, Becky. They're great.
Did I ever mention that I take MANY pics when I do sunsets/sunrises? I just did a quick check on one directory and there are 65 pics of a single sunrise... with different apertures and shutter speeds. (I hardly ever throw anything away...)
And thanks for the mention. I thought last night's game might be deja vu all over again (i.e., Game 5). SN1 and were on the phone for the last minute... and the 15 minutes that followed!... and we both were just beside ourselves!
All's well that ends RED, though!!
YAY!!
Opal, Thanks and glad you enjoyed the game! I didn't watch it.
Robin and Amy, thank you both.
Buck, I take lots of pictures of them, too. The light changes so fast and the sky gets more amazing with each second it's hard NOT to take bunches of pictures. Congrats on the game, again! I know you were jumping up and down--in spirit if not literally!
Great pictures Becky!

I really WAS jumping up and down, literally...and figuratively, too. The CIA/NSA sure must have been amazed and mystified at SN1 and my conversation, were they eavesdropping (we were on the phone during the last minute of the game and for 15 minutes after)... lotsa whoopin' and hollerin', little else! ;-)
My favorite photo is the barbed wire - great color.
Ashley, thanks.
Buck, I wonder what the neighbors thought if they saw El Casa Movil De Pennington rocking and shaking from you jumping!
Lou, thanks. I have a thing for barbed wire pictures. I don't know why. I just like the barbs--especially when they have some hair stuck in them.
