Since he didn't do his homework and so was grounded from all electronics, and the thunderstorms knocked PBS off the air (that there was nothing else worth watching goes without saying), I put on some music and Cody and I spent the evening drawing together last night.

I drew another anime character from Drawspace. I don't like how this one turned out. The eyes are too big. I may try to redo them a little later.

This is what Cody drew. It is one of those Dragonball Z characters. He drew his totally freehand and from memory. I had to look at a picture and draw reference lines. The kid is pretty good. I only wish I'd had someone to encourage me when I was that age.

It was fun drawing together. We'll have to do it again sometime.
