Chats On The Farmhouse Porch

Everyday Ruralty

1.Are you enjoying spring?

Not really. It's rained an awful lot this year, and I'm impatient to get into my flower beds. I'm tired of waiting.

2.Where would you take Patrice for her birthday, if you could spend a day together. Wendell hopes you would bring her back!

Well, since Patrice seems to like animals so much, I think I'd take her to the Memphis Zoo. It's a great zoo.

3.What's your favorite spring flower?

Daffodils.

4.What do you do when you are going through a really stressful time?

I walk down the dirt road between the cotton fields near my house. The more stressful the day, the farther I walk.

5.What kind of birthday cake would you get for Patrice? And Wendell?

Whatever kind she wanted. And for Wendell, a carrot cake, of course!

Thank you for joining me for this week's chat.  Sorry to run you off so soon, but this crud has still got me down, though I am feeling a little better.

Still not even close to 100%.  More like 35%.

Maybe next week will be better.

Walking for stress relief is such a good thing to do. I wish that was my first instinct but exercise rarely ever is for me. I hope you feel better soon.

I hope you're feeling better soon. There are so many things going around. My flower beds look dreadful. I need to get to work. I love going to the zoo ! Wendell would probably try to eat all of the food for the zoo animals. They'd keep him for a new exhibit! Feel better soon.:)
