Yarnz!!!

One of my FB friends posted a link to a yarn store that was going out of business. By the time I got there, there wasn't much left, but I was able to pick up these three balls of Cascade 220 Superwash. Fifteen bucks for all three. That's a good deal.

I ought to be able to get 6 hats out of these. Speaking of hats, I finished the one I was working on.

I really like the way it turned out, with the colors spiraling around like that. I've cast on a second hat from this same yarn. Hopefully, I can get it done in time.

In the meanwhile, I've started a new charity project:

Leper Bandages. OK, I have no idea why the picture turned sideways.  It's not like that on my computer.  Anyway, this is another link someone posted on FB, and it seemed like a worthwhile project.

We are so blessed here in America that we often take things for granted.  Those buffoons occupying wall street want 6 figure incomes without having to work for them, penthouse apartments rent free, plus whatever else they want just handed to them.

People in some parts of the world would give anything just to have clean water to drink.  To most of the world, WE are the 1%.

Let's not forget that, mmmkay?
