See, when I got my cable hooked up last week, I was only expecting to get a few channels. I mostly wanted to get my major networks so I can watch football games. What I didn't realize was that I would also get HSN.
Um, that's the Home Shopping Network, for those of you not in the know.
So, I was hanging out on HSN, getting my money's worth out of the cable service, when they had a show on what they call "Today's Special Value." This day, it was coats--marked down from something like $150 to $90. Oh, boy. I needed a coat.
I don't have a coat. And it's getting on to winter, which means it's fixing to get cold. So, I needed a coat.
OK, so maybe I didn't need a genuine suede DALLAS COWBOYS coat,
but I needed a coat.

Although the coat is nice, I'd stay away from home shopping networks - much too tempting.
I agree with you on that, Lou. But I did need a new coat. That wasn't just a spur of the moment decision. In fact, I'd been telling myself I need a new coat for about 2 years now.
