To The Next Generation

September 11, 2001

We will never forget. 

Those of us who lived through that day will never ever forget.

Whether you were in the midst of the the horror

or at home staring at the TV in shock and disbelief

we will never forget.

But we have reached the point where never forgetting is no longer enough.  Those children who became adults in 2021 --  just two short years ago --

those who became adults just two short years ago weren't even born when these events happened.   Even those who turn 25 this year were too young to remember this day -- the day 2996 of their countrymen died.

Never forgetting is no longer enough.  We must tell it to the next generation.

So that they, too, will never forget.
