For planting, that is.
I had to go in early to work this morning, and boy was I tired. See, I'd woken up at 3:30 to answer nature, and got to thinking about my flower beds, and planning them, and stuff, and I couldn't go back to sleep. So I've been awake a long, long time...
After an excruciatingly long day at work, I was finally able to get my toes into the dirt. We tilled the beds up one more time, mixed my fertilizer stuff into the soil, and I got my border put down.
They'd had a border that looked like stone. It was plastic, but you get my drift. I should have gotten it then, but I didn't. When I went back to get it, they were out, so I got this black stuff instead. It'll do for now.
I may go back and get some more of that Miracle Grow stuff, though. When I bought the bag, I was only planning on a 4' x 4' bed. One bag would have been enough for that size bed, but as you can see, it's gotten quite a bit bigger since then.
Oh, and I need some mulch, too.
