Here We Go

Here you go, the promised photograph of my front flower bed.

There is so much shade in my front yard, that I'm kind of limited as to what will grow there.   Even the so-called shade loving plants struggle to survive.  The only thing I've found that does well is these Hostas.  Even the Lily of the Valleys aren't doing that well.  But I put them back in, hoping that with some enriched soil, they'll hang in there. 

Want to see something weird?  This petunia used to be a light, lilacy purple.

Over the last three or four days, it's gotten more and more pinkish.  I'm really kind of bummed.  I've got tons of pink petunias, and I'd really liked the lilac color.
