It's open! The Hobby Lobby in Batesville is finally open!
I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend.
It'll be so nice to have an honest to goodness craft store nearby without having to drive 100 miles to go to Jackson or Memphis.
You know what else was nice? Inspector Gadget wasn't there today, and things ran so smoothly. You know it's bad when the department runs better when the supervisor isn't there. On a similar note, this popped up in my Facebook feed.
Cody says we need to give him some grace, but it's been four years. How much grace should he get? To be honest, I'd be willing to extend him much more grace if it weren't for those temper tantrums he pitches in the press conferences.
Speaking of grace, I do think we should extend some to Matt Eberflus. I mean, he'd built his entire defense around Micah Parsons, then Jerry trades his cornerstone a week before the season starts. Now he has to build a whole new defense at the drop of a hat.
OK, there is a bit of speculation there on my part, but that's about how it seems.
I had more to talk about, but I ...mostly...stayed up to watch the ball game last night and I'm a bit tuckered. The serious talk will have to wait for another post. I'll just leave you with this blast from the past.
Anybody else remember making these? I'm going to go get some paper and try one!
