I got the skinny on what went on with Stalker yesterday. We asked two different people at two different times, and their stories corroborated, so I think it's pretty close to the real deal.
So, what happened was that the first argument between the two machine operators was a totally separate incident and not related to what happened with Stalker at all. What happened with Stalker was that he went over to the hairpin building -- where he really has no business being in the first place -- and told Hairpin Supervisor, "You need to clean up in here, and you need to do it now."
Hairpin Supervisor turned around and said, "Who the **** do you think you are?" That's what they fired him for -- cussing at Stalker. He wasn't wrong, though. Stalker had no business going over there and trying to order him around. And we're all wondering why no one in management seems to be able to see him for who he really is.
I'm thoroughly convinced at this point that he could throw a woman down in the floor and rape her right there in the middle of the plant, and HRH would fire the woman for trying to fight him off.
In other, better, news, the landscaper was finally able to come finish spreading the dirt today.
Yay! He said he wants to see how much it compacts during the next round of storms, which is supposed to start tomorrow, then he'll come out and do some touch up work. I hope that will include filling in these ruts in my front yard.
Well, we'll have to see what it all looks like after the rains have passed. To be honest, I'm kind of regretting hiring this kid, but he was the only one who actually showed up. Maybe it'll be all right once he's done with the touchups and stuff.
I won't hire him again, though.
At least I'll finally be able to start getting my raised beds in place. After the next round of storms, I mean.

It's great to finally see some progress going on your outside project. It's frustrating as heck when weather will not cooperate.
As for the work situation: Yikes.
It's good to see progress, but all of the rain we've had these last two days has turned it all into a muddy, mucky mess. I'm so over this rain!
I wouldn't mind a small amount of rain. But that's about it.
