Tonight at 8:30. I'll be there.

I think this may have messed up the organization of your web page (at least on my computer) ... but I'm missing the point of the message too. Is it to mock the one-hour of darkness, to show the progress of mankind that this one-hour would like to take way? I'm slow sometimes!

Not messed up. I just didn't resize it. I fixed it. Basically, it's to show that we are not all lemmings jumping off the GloBull warming cliff.

Check out the post on www.michellemalkin.com. It explains the concept better.

Hehehe...me too Becky. From 8:30-9:30 pm this past Saturday, I turned on every lightbulb (bonus for every one of them being the old incandescent type) inside and outsite the house, turned on all three TVs, DVD, and VHS (wasn't watching any of them), plus all the other electric appliances I could find. Once the hour was up, I turned everything OFF but one lamp and one TV and watched Blazing Saddles while eating a big red meat steak dinner. That was fun; when can we do it again? LOL

Patch, we can do it again this Saturday if you want to! I do use compact fluorescent bulbs, but only because I got tired of having to change light bulbs. With incandescents, it seemed I was changing a light bulb at least every other day!

Hehehe, naw, it's no fun doing stuff unless they're telling us not to...or not doing stuff that they tell us to do.
