Happy National Empty Chair Day


I made chocolate chip cookies to celebrate. 

(But really, I made them for Cody.  He just needs to go to the on campus post office and get himself a mailing address before I eat them all up.)

    I cried the day he left, but I'm doing OK since. He came home for Labor Day weekend-- unexpectedly-- so it was good seeing him again.
